CfP: „Hidden Beneath the Surface. Archaeological Areas of Europe“

We would like to invite you to a conference

„Hidden Beneath the Surface. Archaeological Areas of Europe“ organized within the project funded by Technology Agency of the Czech Republic and program Strategy AV 21 “ The City as a Laboratory of Change – Historical Heritage and Place for Safe and Quality Life“, which is dedicated to hidden European archaeological sites.

Of particular interest to this conference are archaeological sites which, after discovery, are now managed in conjunction with other historic or modern structures that cover them or even envelop them, thus protecting them but creating special environmental conditions that may also lead to their destruction.
